I chose this unit after reviewing all the options for trying out hydroponic gardening, and now 30 days after receiving it and 29 days after starting seeds, I'm very pleased with the results.I've posted a picture so you can see how nicely everything is growing.Everything you need but a plant lightand seeds is in the kit, and I started out with just 3 fluorescent bulbs and a southeast window, and salad garden seeds left over from last year's outdoor garden.The manufacturer makes commercial hydroponic systems, so I figured they would do a simple home system right, and they did.I'm thinking of buying a second one next winter, as this unit only takes up half the length of my plant light.

What's not to like?The air pump does not fit its recess well, and I had to tape it in and pad it to keep in place without buzzing.They don't tell you whether to set the pump on "high" or "low"; low, I figured, and it seems to work fine.The system is all plastic, and one of the pots already had a minor chip in it when I got it.Finally, the instructions are awfully sketchy (just a single sheet) for a beginner, though they were enough for me, an experienced outdoor gardener who had already researched the subject on the internet.

Akro-Mils Stack-A-Pot Review

Having limited space but wanting to grow a lot of herbs, I turned to this jumbo stack-a-pot. I had the smaller version before and didn't like the limited potting space but I really liked the stacking feature. It took a huge bag of potting soil to fill it but my herbs have plenty of space to spread out and they are doing great. The company was great to deal with also; the product was incomplete when it arrived and a quick e-mail brought the missing part in a short time.

Northwest Glass 3-Cup Glass Flower Tea Pot, Blooming Tea Bud Review

I just used my new tea pot this morning and am satisfied with the purchase. Reasons: It seems to be well made; it has a nice design, and is practical for my use. I get up about 4 am and the tea pot with the beautiful color of the liquid looks great on the solid glass tea warmer glowing in the dark! (I purchased the Northwest Glass heavy glass warmer).The included glass infuser allows me to see the tea leaves and the slats (great concept instead of holes that allow tea leaves through - UPDATE BELOW) that allow brewing are located around the lower sides. That means that after brewing and using a full pot, I can add a small amount of additional water and have more tea. This is something important to consider when purchasing a tea pot....if the infuser does not sit low enough in the pot, you must use a lot of water before the tea can steep. This pot is good for about 20 ounces of tea. You can't fill it to the stated 24 ounce capacity or the liquid will spill from the spout (and I'm assuming by "3 cups" they mean 3 eight ounce cups). I purchased the tea warmer also which I reviewed under that item. There is just one thing that could have been better designed....when pouring the last drop you must keep your finger on the lid because it is not designed to stay on without holding it. But the pot is designed in a way where most of the liquid pours out easily, the beautifully curved spout does not drip, and you only have to hold the top for the last few drops.

UPDATE: Now that I have used this teapot daily, I have learned that gallons of water are probably being used to clean the glass infuser!!! The tea leaves get stuck in the glass slats. I have a sprayer on my sink and I end up getting water all over just trying to spray the inside and outside of the slats to loosen the tea leaves. If you don't like to spend a lot of time cleaning (and using a lot of water) then this will not work for you. The pot itself is really nice.

Myers Ind ZEA12001P55 12in Red Glaze Planter Review

The Myser Industries Glaze Resin Planter looks nothing like the image on Amazon.The image looks like this item is made of clay or ceramic, so do not go by the image.However, it's just made of cheap plastic.The description does state that it's a resin planter, but the image is very misleading.

The image makes the color look vibrant, but in reality it's a dull, ugly reddish color.The plastic feels very cheap.This item reminds me of something found at a dollar store.Clay pots are cheaper and look far nicer than this garbage.

I wanted to get my mom a nice planter for Mother's Day, but this one definitely does not fit the bill.This just looks cheap.Save your money.
